A body is a good thing to have. The body is made up of a head, neck, torso, 2 arms, and 2 legs. Our body is also made up of 100 trillion cells, 206 bones, 600 muscles, and 22 internal organs. One of the most important things the body has is hands. I believe without has we wouldn't be able to live independently. Our hands are used to clean ourselves, cook are food, write, and many other things. Unlike animals we have thumbs(other then monkeys). With these thumbs we have an advantage of doing more things like button buttons. But the body also needs to be cared for. It needs healthy foods and exercise.

Digestive System
The digestive system breaks down the food you eat. When you eat saliva breaks down the chemicals in the food and make it mushy. This makes it easy for you swallow. The tongue helps by pushing the mushy food to the back of your throat and into your esophagus. After the esophagus comes the stomach. Once in the stomach gastric juice breaks down the food even more. The food this then pushed into the small intestines where all the good stuff for your body is taken out the food and then passes through the liver where it is filtered. And the waste pushed in to the large intestines out out the colon.

Respiratory System
First air enters through the nostrils or the mouth. After that is passes through the mouth to the nasopharynx. Then it's headed to the oral pharynx and through the glottis into the its trachea. Next it goes in to left bronchi, which branches and rebranches into the alveoli. And this is how you breathe.

Circulatory System
The circulatory system muscles and vessels. These help control the blood flow. The main parts of the system is the heart, arteries, capillaries and veins. As blood begins to circulate, it leaves the heart from the left ventricle and goes into the aorta. The oxygen rich blood travels throughout the body in its system of arteries into the smallest arterioles. On its way back to the heart, the blood travels through a system of veins.

Nervous System
The nervous system is divided into two main systems the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system. The spinal cord and the brain make the CNS. It's main job is to get the information from the body and send out instructions. The peripheral nervous system is made up of all the of the nerves and the wiring. This system sends the messages from the brain to the rest of the body.
Muscular System
The human body has more than 650 muscles which are attached to the skeleton, which provides the pulling power for us to move around. The main job of the muscular system is to provide movement for the body. The muscular system consist of three different types of muscle tissues: skeletal, cardiac, smooth. Each of these different tissues has the ability to contract, which then allows body movements and functions. There are two types of muscles in the system and they are the involuntary muscles, and the voluntary muscles.
